三、团队介绍
本中心围绕影响人类健康和新发传染病病原的研究领域,在“病毒致病机理及抗病毒药物研发”及“干细胞介导的再生医学”等科学前沿致力于原始创新。主要研究内容为以乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)、致手足口病的肠道病毒71型(EV71)等高致病、高传染性病毒为研究对象,应用生物信息学方法、体外细胞培养系统、动物模型、人体组织四大系统,有机整合病毒学、医学、化学和药学等优势学术力量,阐明病毒感染复制机理,寻找具有新颖结构、优良抗病毒活性、新颖抗病毒机制的特异高效抗病毒药物,为病毒性疾病治疗奠定理论基础及开辟应用前景。另外,以独创的Hu3D®三维培养系统为平台,探索干细胞介导的肝肾组织再生、器官修复等再生医学前沿领域。
团队承担了国家“十一五”艾滋病和病毒性肝炎等重大传染病防治科技重大专项、国家“十二五”艾滋病和病毒性肝炎等重大传染病防治科技重大专项、国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家自然科学基金青年项目、湖北省自然科学基金重点项目、各类校企合作项目等,累计科研经费逾2000万元。
近五年发表SCI论文22篇,出版学术专著1本,获授权发明专利7项,培养博士研究生2名(与中科院合招)、硕士研究生11名,2018年和2019年分获中国人民解放军全军科技进步奖二等奖、中华预防医学会科技进步奖三等奖各1项。
